Financial aid for Pets

For anyone who is struggling and you need to see a vet here are a few resorces that may be able to help! And for all those who are not struggling these places are all non profit and tax deductible ! Help us help each other! In Jesus name ! http://www.rosesfund.org/ Our goal is to help make that difficult decision come from your heart, not from your pocket. No one should ever have to choose between medical care and euthanizing their pet. When there is a situation where the pet or found animal has a good chance of being well but the owner or Good Samaritan can’t afford it; Rose's Fund will to the best of our abilities cover the cost. The veterinarian will call the fund after the owner has used his/her own resources and applied for a "care card" at the veterinarian's office. Because we also love animals and know how much your pet means to you, we wish we could assist everyone with their bill in full. We are limited by funding and donations, but we will make every effort and if we are unable to help we will certainly try to direct you to other resources that might be available. https://www.animalfriendsrescue.org/financialassistance.html Providing vet care is an essential part of pet ownership, but medical emergencies can come up at any time and the cost of caring for your companion animal can add up quickly. We get calls nearly every day from distraught pet owners needing help with vet bills. While AFRP does not have funding available for individuals needing financial assistance for their pets, we have provided links to several programs that do help pet owners cover emergency medical expenses and other lifesaving medical treatment. We also encourage pet owners to plan ahead by enrolling their animals in one of the many pet insurance programs available that can cover major medical expenses for a small monthly fee. http://www.carecredit.com/ http://www.handicappedpets.com/pet-services/financial-aid-for-pets.html http://www.thepetfund.com/ The Pet Fund is a registered 501(c) 3 nonprofit association that provides financial assistance to owners of domestic animals who need veterinary care. Often animals are put down or suffer needlessly because their owners cannot afford expensive surgery or medical treatment. Companion animal owners must often make the difficult decision to put an animal down or neglect medical needs because of the costs involved. Thousands of animals are sent to shelters and euthanized each year, many because of treatable medical conditions. While costs are an inevitable part of the responsibility of owning companion animals, The Pet Fund assists owners in covering medical costs beyond the normal expenses of vaccination, spay & neuter surgeries, food and routine veterinary care. Adopting a companion animal always involves both expense and commitment, and if owners have a resource to help with medical services, their animals can receive necessary care despite the financial burdens involved. The purpose of the Pet Fund is to work towards a future where decisions about companion animal medical care need never be made on the basis of cost. Perhaps most importantly, we provide information to owners about preventative care and financial services which will ensure that pet owners are able to develop financial resources on their own and avoid future medical crises through care and planning. http://www.imom.org/fa/ At IMOM we have been helping with financial aid since 1998 and we are here to help. Our experience has taught us the fastest and most efficient way to get you the help you need, if you qualify and follow our instructions very carefully. We completely understand that you are under quite a bit of stress. Take a deep breath. You can get through this because your pet needs you. http://speakingforspot.com/?p=Financial%20Assistance%20for%20Veterinary%20Care The Big Hearts Fund www.bigheartsfund.org Email:ask@bigheartsfund.org Pet owners who need financial assistance for the diagnosis and treatment of canine and feline heart disease are encouraged to apply for grants. Grants are limited to payment for veterinary services pre-approved by the Big Hearts Fund Veterinary Advisory Board. Application information and forms for pet owners and veterinarians to complete can be found on the website. Pet owners can also learn more about canine and feline heart disease and ways to improve their pet’s quality of life through resources and articles on the website. http://www.themagicbulletfund.org/Apply.shtml If your dog has cancer and you can't afford treatment, you are not alone. A great many people are in this same situation. Magic Bullet Fund gets many applications and we have to make very hard decisions. We would like to help all of the dogs and all of the families who apply but we cannot. Assistance is for cancer treatment fees only. The fund does not provide assistance for other conditions, for cancer treatment after the first course of treatment has failed, for palliative care, for euthanasia or for any treatment that has already been done. https://www.face4pets.org/ Many sick and injured pets are abandoned or euthanized because their owners are unable to cover the cost of their emergency or critical care needs. The FACE Foundation provides financial assistance to animal owners who are unable to cover the full cost of their pets’ critical or emergency veterinary care.

This is piggy the one who started my saving dogs quest He's 14 years old  I remember the day that I got him , He was the only puppy out of his litter that  didn't come running when I yelled puppies! So I went to him and he turned his head away from me and I picked him up and he put his head on my shoulder and just layed there letting me hug him from that moment on he was my dog! I named him piggy because he loved people food and he even ate a lemon wedge when I threw him one!He has had many adventures and been to jail once , I was so in a hurry to get him out that I didnt bring a leash and he let me use his tail as a leash all the way home(about 4 blocks) He has a little mean streak wont let me take the toys until they are destroyed. He loves to take the squeak out of the toys. He is starting to have a hard time getting up and down steps and getting up after sleeping . Im just not sure how will I know when he's ready to leave this world? Iv'e been giving him doggie asprin and it helps a little. It seems like a dogs life is too short .It just goes to show me how time is flying.  He is the daddy to my crippled dog lil pig who looks just like him
he just can't walk. Lil pig is 12 .
